Dear Colleagues and Patients

Due to the unprecedented situation Namibia and the world finds itself in, we at Windhoek Eye Centre see it as our social obligation to render only emergency services during the lock down period as announced by the President of Namibia. The announced period will be from the 27th of March 2020 till the 16th of April 2020.

We feel it will be irresponsible to expose our elderly population of patients, as well as our staff during this time where a rapid increase in new Covid-19 cases are expected.
One of our ophthalmologists will be available to see emergencies and you are welcome to contact us with any problems.

As a nation we have one chance to get this right and learn from the rest of the world.

We want to make sure we play our part.
